An analysis of consumer shopping trends in the UK recently revealed that plant based milk is on the top list of what Brits are buying the most in 2017.
The basket’s contents are based on four indices that reveal financial statistics about price inflation and consumer spending patterns drawn from 700 representative goods and services across 140 areas in the UK.
The plant-based milk was added to represent what they say is “a distinct and growing market.” Interestingly, milk, cheese and eggs were removed already in 2015 from the basket due to falling sales.
